For History this week we will study A History of US by Joy Hakim, Chapter 26-30.  Each child has been assigned a chapter and will read and complete the questions for that chapter.  They will then present the information they have learned from that chapter and give answers to their questions to other children.

When we finish Book One of History of US, the children will choose one of the explorers and report on him.  For extra credit, they may dress up as that character.

Math for Week of November 9-13, 2015

Before we can move on in our math book, we need to spend more time on long division.  If your child is struggling with their multiplication facts, they will have trouble with long division.  If it takes them too long to come up with their multiplication fact, they will loose their place in the division process.  It is very important they learn these facts.
